- Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: In the episode "Backwarder", Marinette Dupain-Cheng mentioned that Adrien Agreste, Gabriel Agreste, Kagami Tsurugi and Kagami's mother are going to London, England for a royal wedding. Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London are also mentioned. And as seen in a flashback, Master Wang Fu used to live in England during the French Resistance, though it's unknown if he stayed in London. In the episode "Startrain", Caline Bustier's class took a field trip to London to see the Big Ben.
- Power Players: Although the series doesn't take place in Paris, one of the photos on the fridge of the Monkey Toys shows Axel Mulligan have visited the Louvre Museum in Paris.

- Paris was chosen as the setting for Miraculous to complement the show's romantic comedy undertones, as Paris is known as the "City of Love."[1]
- It is considered to be a character by the production department of Miraculous.[2]
- Originally, in earlier development, Thomas Astruc considered setting the series in Hong Kong, China, as French animated shows weren't usually allowed to take place in France, but Jeremy Zag supported the series' main location being Paris.[3]
- According to the series description for Kosmic Dancer, the main characters Ipoh and Mia are both French characters. However, it's unknown if Kosmic Dancer was going to set in Paris.
