New York City, abbreviated as NYC or simply called New York, is the most populous city of New York State in the United States of America. The city serves as the main location for most of the Zagtoon medias.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: New York City was the place where Chloé Bourgeois's mother Audrey Bourgeois spend a lot of time as the editor of the Style Queen magazine. Prior to Audrey staying in Paris in "Queen Wasp", Marinette Dupain-Cheng was offered by her to join her and study fashion under her tutelage in New York, but she rejects it. When Chloé threatens to leave Paris in "Malediktator", she and her mother both suggest that the family are going to move to New York.
Miraculous New York: In this special, Marienette, Adrien and their class go on a week-long vacation to New York in celebration of French-American friendship. But Hawk Moth visits too in search of a new Miraculous and they end up in the crosshairs of United Heroez and their enemy, Techno-Pirate.
Pixie Girl: Manhattan, a borough of New York City, is the primary setting of Pixie Girl. Central Park, an urban park in Manhattan, is where Pixie Girl needs to return after defeating evil witches before she permanently loses her glow whenever she uses her magical pixie powers.[1]
Ghostforce: Manhattan, a borough of New York City, is the primary setting of Ghostforce.[2]
On July 25, 2016, there's a rumor that a crossover special between Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Pixie Girl, and Ghostforce is in production. A concept art of Ladybug looking down at New York City was posted on Jeremy Zag's Instagram on February 13, 2017, indicating that the crossover special is indeed going to happen. However, on December 18, 2017, it's revealed by Feri González on Curious Cat that the New York special was never meant to be one, rather it was from issues 2-4 of Miraculous Adventures.[3]
This is enforced by several concept arts appearing on Jeremy Zag's Instagram of Ladybug, Cat Noir and the Ghost Force working together.
