Gameplay[]

The game functions similarly to an infinite runner, but with levels as opposed to trying to beat a high score, though there is an Infinite Mode. Each level can be cleared by completing certain goals such as the amount of Ladybugs (coins) collected, the amount of Camembert or Cookies (rare collectibles only placed in goal-oriented levels) or the amount of actions, such as jumping over objects, performed in a level. Eventually, a boss level will unlock, which will either be escaping from an akumatized villain or attacking them by blocking projectiles.

Scenarios range from Paris roads to rooftops, which have various obstacles and power-ups placed in them. Some areas require the player to run on walls or slide under obstacles.

Trivia[]

  • The game was soft-launched in Australia, FYR Macedonia, Israel, and Romania on February 21, 2018, for iOS devices, as many mobile games do, to test the playability of the game and fix any bugs before releasing it to the full market.
  • On Android devices was soft-launched in Israel, Romania, and Saudi Arabia on March 16, 2018.
  • The Miraculous logo and numerous other promotional artworks can be seen throughout the game.
  • The Lucky Charms/Cataclysm/Mirage Tokens/Venom Tokens/Shell-ters missions take place in the streets of Paris at night.
  • The yo-yo power-ups only appear if Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Chloé, or Nino are in their superhero forms.
  • It's revealed during the Miraculous panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 that the next update that was originally planned to be released on August 2018 will feature Rena Rouge as a playable character.[10]
  • As of Version 1.0.9, Marinette/Ladybug, Adrien/Cat Noir, Alya/Rena Rouge, Chloé/Queen Bee, and Nino/Carapace appear in all levels. However, their civilian forms didn't appear in any Lucky Charms/Cataclysms/Mirage Tokens/Venom Tokens/Shell-ters levels, escape from the akumatized villain levels, and defeat the akumatized villain levels.
  • When Chloé/Queen Bee was introduced in the game in Version 1.0.9, the foods that the player must collect for Pollen were cookies. But as of Version 1.1.10, the foods that the player must collect are now croissants.

Errors[]

  • The game models contain a few errors:
    • The floral design on Marinette's t-shirt is missing.
    • Ladybug's mask is completely red without the five black spots.
    • The butterfly logo on the sides of Adrien's sneakers are missing.
    • Cat Noir's bell and ring are black and yellow respectively.
    • One of the Bubbler's black spots is seen under his left eye instead of above it.
    • The top of Volpina's hair is brown instead of black.
    • Alya/Rena Rouge isn't wearing the Fox Miraculous.
    • Queen Bee's spinning top is missing its stripes.
    • Chloé isn't wearing the Bee Miraculous.
      • When transformed the Miraculous is placed on the top of her head as opposed to the right side.
    • Chloé isn't wearing blue eyeshadows.
  • Since Alya/Rena Rouge became a playable character after Version 1.0.9, she will appears in Levels 45 and 50 in which the mission is to escape and defeat herself in her akumatized form (Lady Wifi) respectively.
    • This also happens to Nino/Carapace after Version 1.2.02. He will appears in Levels 35 and 40 in which the mission is to escape and defeat himself in his akumatized form (Bubbler) respectively.
