Jeremy Zag is a French entrepreneur, producer, director and music composer, for films, television series, and digital entertainment. He is the co-founder and CEO of ZAG Entertainment, a 'Tales, Tech and Toy' Company specializing in children's and family entertainment franchises. He co-founds the company in partnership with Jacqueline Tordjman in 2009.[1]

History[]

Jeremy has always loved animation since he was thirteen years old and he has never stopped loving it. In 2009, he found ZAG Entertainment in Paris, France, but he later moved to Los Angeles, California and sets up an American division to expand his properties on around 2014.[2]

He has also found various subsidiaries for his company including ZAG Animation Studios, ZAG Digital, ZAG Records, ZAG Charitable Foundation, ZAGON Studios, SamZAG, ZAG Lab, and ZAG Store.

  • Jeremy's last name, Zag, sometimes appears in his various media as an easter egg.
  • According to Jared Wolfson, Jeremy changed the animation style of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir so that the show would have a more cinematic look, one unlike any previously seen on television.[3]
  • Jeremy is a fan of Dragon Ball, and considers it his "inspiration on everything". He considers its creator, Akira Toriyama, to be his hero.[4]
  • On November 6, 2015, Jeremy won the "Breakout Studio" award for his company at the World Animation and VFX Summit Awards Gala.[5]
  • Jeremy's last name, is Zaguedoun.
