Fairy Force (currently a working title) is an upcoming animated musical film that's under the ZAG Heroez brand. It would be a collaboration between ZAG and Cross Creek Pictures. As of 2023, the film is currently in pre-production as the studios are currently focusing on producing Melody.
Pixie Girl is going to be the main protagonist of the feature film. She's a little fairy who becomes a superhero to fight witches so she can protect Manhattan, New York City.
Lady Butterfly is an upcoming character in the feature film. It's unknown what's her role in the film.
Trivia[]
The project is a retool of the planned Pixie Girl TV series. This was indirectly confirmed by Angie Nasca in the first episode of Inside ZAG, a behind-the-scenes documentary web series that was uploaded on ZAG Studio's YouTube channel.[1]
As revealed by Angie Nasca in the webisode, Fairy Force is ZAG's "next project" that's being developed.
At one point in the webisode, a storyboard can be seen on the table and it reveals that Lady Butterfly is going to be in the film.
According to a Deadline article, Fairy Force would "follow a little fairy coming from the forest and landing in the middle of Central Park who comes face-to-face with the witches of New York City".[2]
Fairy Force is part of ZAG's deal with Cross Creek Pictures to develop and produce ten animated, live-action, and hybrid format feature films.
It's unknown if the Pixie Girl TV series is still happening as a result of the project becoming a feature film. If it is, it's likely the TV series would be renamed to Fairy Force and would serve as a spin-off/sequel to the film.
Fairy Force should not be confused with the planned live-action Pixie Girl film.
