As of 2023, information about Balloons is very cryptic since the existence of the project was only revealed from an Instagram image posted by Jeremy Zag on June 15, 2016. There isn't any concept art that is publicly known and there's a severe lack of announcement of its development process.
Prior to the ZAG website's 2019 update, Balloons was the only project that didn't have its own page for the ZAG Toon brand. Because of this, it's unknown what Balloons is about and if it's actually a show or a movie.
